Recapping this year, 2014- my GOSH. I was almost in tears last night making this.
First, THANK YOU TO MY CLIENTS! You guys have been the best clients a girl could ask for. THANK YOU for believing in my work, creativity, and being adventurous with me. Also, for challenging me with new areas I hadn't experienced. I seriously wouldn't be here if it wasn't for ALL of you! So, THANK YOU to the families, individuals, weddings, non-profits, businesses, magazines, and campaigns! I cannot wait to work with all of my new 2015 clients and the clients who have been with me for years!!
Second, I am ever so thankful to God! This year has been a wild ride. On Easter of this year, I rededicated my life to God and it's been so amazing to see who has been taken out of and put into my life! I feel blessed beyond words to know and spend time with the people in my life (and grateful for another year with my love, Zach!) Also, I quit my banking job that I was working full time for while doing photography part time and took a HUGE leap of faith by going FULL time Photography. Rented a studio on Washington, a separate office downtown, turned into an LLC, and have made some pretty big business investments! I feel so blessed and I promise to keep working hard.
Third, THIS IS THE RELEASE OF MY NEW LOGO!! Although, I love my feather logo, I wanted to re-create it to convey who I felt like I am as a person and photographer. I love triangles and mountains, so naturally, here we are. But also, the mountains stand for home and the wide range of photography that I do! And I also wanted to give my name a sense of a personal touch, which is why I asked Tin Oiseau to work with me on creating this logo using her amazing typography skills!
In conclusion, CHEERS to such a fabulous year and am looking SO forward to 2015!
